Medical Center and Cluj ISU Station, Chinteni (Fire Department)

Construction of the new Medical Center in Chinteni, with medical offices grouped by specialty and a Cluj ISU station, began in 2020, with an investment of over 10 million lei. The 3-storey, 3,000 sqm building will serve residents of the communes of Chinteni, Panticeu, Vultureni and Așchileu, and the ISU station will be equipped with a fire engine and a SMURD ambulance.

Year 2024 - Opening

The opening is expected to take place in 2024, probably before the elections.

Year 2023 - Completion of Works

The Town Hall announced that the Medical Center in Chinteni will be equipped with a fully equipped SMURD emergency vehicle, purchased through a community initiative supported by donations. The cost of such an ambulance amounts to approximately 140-150,000 euros, marking a significant investment in improving emergency services in the municipality.

Year 2022 - Nearing Completion of Works

On March 8, 2022, Mayor Lucia Suciu signed an additional act for the financing of this important objective. The project also includes an appeal to the community for donations intended for the purchase of an ambulance for the Medical Center and the entire community.

Year 2021 - Continuation of Works

As of March 12, 2021, works on the Medical Center in Chinteni are progressing, with visible construction progress. Project funding comes from the Ministry of Development, the National Investment Company, and the local budget. The new building will have three floors and will serve four municipalities, including an ISU work point equipped with a fire truck and SMURD ambulance.

Year 2020 - Start of Works
