Getting to and from Chinteni: metropolitan bus lines to Cluj-Napoca (M37, M38, M39, 39L, M39L), the history of road works, cycling, trains and road distances.

The Intercommunity Development Association Metropolitan Public Transport Association of Cluj includes Cluj-Napoca municipality and six neighboring communes: Baciu, Florești, Apahida, Feleacu, Ciurila and Chinteni. Metropolitan transport cost: Standard, Students.

There are several locations in Chinteni for EasyBox (from eMag); additionally, courier companies deliver various packages without issues throughout Chinteni.

Bicycle Traffic

  • Bicycle Lanes: there are no bicycle lanes, but there are people who prefer certain routes on the road and the hills of Chinteni.

Motorcycle and Scooter Traffic

  • Scooter Routes: we do not recommend it, especially since there are no lanes or sidewalks, and the road is standard, so not very wide.
  • Motorcycles have no special rules beyond the usual ones, but we want to mention that there are people who prefer the hills of Chinteni for motocross (off-road).

Passenger Train Schedule / CFR

There is no train station in Chinteni, the nearest one being in Cluj-Napoca (~10-20 minutes). CFR Călători offers the possibility for people who choose to travel by train to benefit from various services, such as purchasing and booking travel tickets. These services can be accessed both from stations and travel agencies, up to 30 days in advance for domestic travel and up to 60 days in advance for international travel.
