Chinteni now has two charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid cars, with 50–100 kW fast charging and 22 kW points, funded through Romania's recovery plan (PNRR). They are in the Medical Centre car park on Unirii Street and on Ion Creangă Street.
Valea Chintăului, a road long awaiting modernisation, is undergoing a major 14-million-euro rehabilitation, taken over by Cluj-Napoca City Hall after years of promises.
